Mit der »Live Your Dreams«-Serie erfüllte Tonio sich einen Traum und enterte 2016 das Zigarrenbusiness.
Da es nur einen ersten Eindruck gibt, hat Tonio sich für sein Debüt in Zusammenarbeit mit Plasencia ordentlich reingekniet. Herausgekommen ist ein mittelkräftiges Rauchvergnügen mit Noten von dunkler Schokolade und Kaffee. Im Hintergrund ist eine dezente Röstaromatik wahrnehmbar.
Die Charakteristik verdankt der Blend einem ölig schimmernden H-2000-Deckblatt aus Ecuador, zwei Umblättern, das eine aus Indonesien, das andere aus Jalapa, Nicaragua, sowie einer Einlage aus bis zu drei Jahre gelagerten dominikanischen, honduranischen und nicaraguanischen Tabaken.
Erfreulich ist, dass Tonio sich auch in besonderem Maße mit dem Packaging befasst hat. Die weißen Kisten mit dem tanzenden Skelett sind nicht nur ein echter Eyecatcher, sie schonen darüber hinaus die Umwelt. Im sogenannten Papierspritzgussverfahren werden ausschließlich nachhaltige Rohstoffe verwendet, wodurch die Kisten sogar kompostierbar sind.
Geschmack: Ein mittelkräftiges Rauchvergnügen mit Noten von dunkler Schokolade und Kaffee. Im Hintergrund ist eine dezente Röstaromatik wahrnehmbar.
With the »Live Your Dreams« series, Tonio fulfilled a dream and entered the cigar business in 2016.
Since you only get one chance to make a first impression, Tonio put in a lot of effort for his debut in collaboration with Plasencia. The result is a medium-bodied smoking pleasure with notes of dark chocolate and coffee. In the background, a subtle spicy aroma can be detected.
The blend owes its character to an oily, shimmering H-2000 wrapper from Ecuador, two binders—one from Indonesia and the other from Jalapa, Nicaragua—as well as a filler from Dominican, Honduran, and Nicaraguan tobaccos aged for up to three years.
What’s especially noteworthy is that Tonio also paid special attention to the packaging. The white boxes with the dancing skeleton are not only real eye-catchers but also environmentally friendly. Made using the so-called paper injection molding process, only sustainable raw materials are used, making the boxes even compostable.
Taste: A medium-bodied smoking experience with notes of dark chocolate and coffee. In the background, a subtle spicy aroma can be detected.
