Pfeifendepot – No. 002 – Macker
No. 002 – Macker, 100g can
For his „Macker“, an old sea captain who had been washed with all kinds of sea water was looking for a good, strong Navy Flake. In this form, the expression „Macker“ was alien to me, I thought it was more appropriate in colloquial terms, let’s say a „show-off“. But in seafaring, I learned, this term stands for a companion with whom, connected by the sea, you work closely with in a good comradeship. Again and again we tried new things – with the „Macker“ we have now found a recipe that the old man will appreciate: A good medium-strength flake consisting of Burley, Virginia and a touch of Kentucky. The tobacco tastes nutty, earthy, with a Burley typical chocolate tone and the subtle Virginia sweetness.
