Der „Khartoum“ basiert sowohl auf ready rubbed Virginias, welche abgemischt wurden mit reichlich zypriotischem Latakia, als auch auf Kentucky-, Perique-, Black Cavendish- und natürlich 
Havanna Tabaken. Das Ergebnis ist weich und komplex zugleich und eröffnet einen ansprechenden Kontrast. Die wohlabgestimmte Menge an Zigarrenblattgut verleiht dem Blend nicht nur eine unheimliche Tiefe und Intensität, sondern auch einen sehr eigenen geschmacklichen Charakter. Die rauchigen und süßen Noten des Latakia harmonieren hervorragend mit der ätherischen Würze der Havanna-Aromatik. Fast möchte man meinen, sie wären extra füreinander geschaffen worden.
