Estate Pfeife – Old Master – Foreign Made – Fancy Plateau
Eine flotter Feger, ein schöner Anblick, ein gelungenes Shape. Mit elegantem Schwung aus dem Plateau geschnitten und einem schmuck gedrechselten Mundstück versehen, ist diese Pfeife ein Augenmagnet. Auch wenn sie durchaus ein paar Kitstellen aufweist, ihrer grandiosen Erscheinung, mit den wohlig-warm flackernden rot-braun Tönen des Holzes, nimmt das nichts. Ein Stück von imposanter Größe mit einer geschätzten Rauchdauer von gut 1,5 Stunden und mehr.
Bei Old Master könnte es sich um eine Importmake von Hollco/Wally Frank handeln.

A brisk sweep, a beautiful sight, a superb shape. Cut from the plateau with an elegant curve and featuring a beautifully turned mouthpiece, this pipe is a real eye-catcher. Even if it does have a few spots, its grandiose appearance, with the pleasantly warm, flickering red-brown tones of the wood, does not detract from this. A piece of imposing size with an estimated smoking time of a good 1.5 hours or more.
