Mac Baren, Latakia Blend – Roll Cake, 100g
Der Latakia Blend wurde 1964 eingeführt. Zu dieser Zeit war die Anforderung an einen Tabak eine leicht rauchige Mischung mit natürlichem Tabakgeschmack.
Nachdem die Tabake zu Strängen gesponnen wurden, wird der Tabak für einige Wochen gelagert und dann in dünne „Münzen“ geschnitten. Alle Stränge in diesem Tabak haben einen Kern aus Dark Fired Kentucky, der der Mischung eine leicht rauchige Note verleiht mit der Süße der Virginia Tabake. Als Krönung für die Geschmacksgeber wird ein wenig Latakia hinzugefügt, der ihm seine eigene rauchige Note hinzufügt.
Wie die meisten von Mac Baren gesponnenen Tabake wird auch hier Wasser und Ahornzucker gekocht und mit dem Tabak gemischt. Das ist auch schon alles, was dem Tabak zugegebenwird , so dass sich ein natürlicher Tabakgeschmack aus dem Zusammenspiel der süße der Virginias und der leicht säuerlich rauchigen Note der Dark Fired Kentuckys ergibt.

Like most of Mac Barens spun tobaccos, water and maple sugar are cooked and mixed with the tobacco. That’s just what is added to the tobacco, so that a natural tobacco flavor results from the interplay of the sweetness of Virginia and the slightly sour smoky note of the Dark Fired Kentucky.
