Maria Mancini – Postre de Banquete
Maria Mancini ist fester Bestandteil im Sortiment vieler Klimaräume und damit heute eine der berühmtesten Marken aus Honduras, die sich einer großen Anhängerschaft erfreut. Das liegt nicht zuletzt daran, daß Thomas Mann in dem Roman „Der Zauberberg“ die Maria Mancini mit schwärmenden Worten verewigt hat. Die älteste Abbildung der Original Maria Mancini Cigarre konnte das Haus Schuster nach langer und intensiver Suche aus dem Jahre 1905 ausfindig machen. Nach langen und aufwändigen Vorarbeiten ist nun das alte Original wiedererstanden. Die Tabake sind ausschließlich in Honduras gezogen und sind das eindrucksvolle Ergebnis der großen Fortschritte in der Kultivierung kubanischer Saaten, die in Honduras in den letzten Jahren gemacht wurden. Sehr leckere, aromareiche und eigenständige Geschmacksentwicklung weisen diese schönen Cigarren aus.
Es gibt 5 verschiede Formate in der historischen Ausstattung in beklebten Kisten und entsprechender Bebilderung. Vor 100 Jahren rauchte man keine großen bis sehr großen Cigarrenformate, so daß die Formatauswahl vom kleinen Mini-Cigarillo-Longfiller über eine Minirobusto, einer eleganten kleinen Belicoso, einem Trompetenformat bis hin zur schlanken Perfecto, dem alten Original entsprechend, reicht. Die Cigarren selbst sind Puros-Longfiller aus 100% honduranischen Havanatabak-Züchtungen mit ausgeprägt feinem Aroma.

Maria Mancini is a staple in many climate-controlled rooms and is now one of the most famous brands from Honduras, enjoying a large following. This is not least due to the fact that Thomas Mann immortalised Maria Mancini with enthusiastic words in his novel ‘The Magic Mountain’. After a long and intensive search, Schuster was able to locate the oldest illustration of the original Maria Mancini cigar from 1905. After lengthy and extensive preparatory work, the old original has now been revived. The tobaccos are grown exclusively in Honduras and are the impressive result of the great progress made in the cultivation of Cuban seeds in Honduras in recent years. These beautiful cigars are characterised by a very delicious, aromatic and distinctive flavour development.
There are five different formats in the historical packaging in sealed boxes with corresponding illustrations. A hundred years ago, people did not smoke large to very large cigar formats, so the format selection ranges from the small mini cigarillo long filler to a mini robusto, an elegant small belicoso, a trumpet format and the slim perfecto, in keeping with the old original. The cigars themselves are Puros long fillers made from 100% Honduran Havana tobacco varieties with a distinctly fine aroma.
