Das Cibao-Tal: schützende Berge, sanfte Hügel, ein sehr fruchtbarer Boden und eine perfekte Balance aus Sonne, Schatten, Regen und der würzigen Luft des Meeres –
ein besonderer Ort, das Herz der Dominikanischen Republik, das wohl fruchtbarste Tal der Karibik. Nirgends sonst ist die Luft so voller Aromen. Tabak, Kakao, Kaffee, Bananen, Mango … Und genau hier ist sie zuhause. Montosa – eine Zigarre, deren Komposition eine der großen Herausforderungen des Zigarrenblendings meistert: leicht zu rauchen und gleichzeitig aromenreich zu sein.
Mehr als 3 Jahre hat unser Master Blender nach genaudieser Komposition und diesem Ergebnis gesucht. Die Entscheidung ist dabei für Criollo und Piloto aus der Dominikanischen Republik und Java aus Indonesien als Einlage gefallen. Dazu ein Umblatt aus Mexican Sumatra und als Deckblatt ein feines Connecticut Shade aus Ecuador.
Komponiert mit viel Feingefühl und ebensolchem Feingefühl handgerollt. Montosa. Die Genuss-Zigarre aus dem Herzen der Dominikanischen Republik. Aromenreich, feinwürzig, cremig und zugleich rund, weich und leicht zugänglich.
Die feinwürzigen Komponenten liegen dem Toro-Format besonders. Ohne dabei die Aromen und die Cremigkeit zu vernachlässigen. Die Nachbarschaft zu Kaffee-, Kakao- und Kokosplantagen macht sich sanft bemerkbar.

The Cibao Valley: protective mountains, rolling hills, extremely fertile soil, and a perfect balance of sun, shade, rain, and the spicy sea air—
a special place, the heart of the Dominican Republic, arguably the most fertile valley in the Caribbean. Nowhere else is the air so full of aromas. Tobacco, cocoa, coffee, bananas, mango… And this is exactly where it belongs. Montosa – a cigar whose composition masters one of the great challenges of cigar blending: being easy to smoke and rich in aroma at the same time.
Our master blender spent more than three years searching for precisely this composition and this result. The decision was made to use Criollo and Piloto from the Dominican Republic and Java from Indonesia as the filler. Added to this is a binder from Mexican Sumatra and a fine Connecticut Shade from Ecuador as the wrapper.
Composed with great sensitivity and rolled by hand with equal sensitivity. Montosa. The pleasure cigar from the heart of the Dominican Republic. Rich in aroma, delicately spicy, creamy and at the same time round, smooth and easily accessible.
The Robusto format could hardly be milder, showcasing the delicately spicy, earthy and nutty, fruity aromas of the Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic in a wonderfully smooth way.
The delicately spicy components are particularly suited to the Toro format, without neglecting the aromas and creaminess. The proximity to coffee, cocoa, and coconut plantations is gently noticeable.
