„Löppt di en Sottje övern Weg, denn hest du Glück!“ – Sottje, das ist auf Platt der Schornsteinfeger. Hier in Hamburg tragen die rußigen Gesellen zu ihrer schwarzen Kluft traditionell meist noch den „Spint“ (Zylinder) als Kopfbedeckung, mit dem sie endgültig alle Blicke magisch auf sich ziehen. Glücklicherweise hat das Pfeifendepot hat den Bezirks-Schornsteinfeger mit seinem Büro zum Nachbarn und somit kreuzen die Sottjes hier alle Nas‘ lang den Weg. Aberglaube hin oder her, wer freut sich nicht, wenn er einen sieht? Bei einem Besuch im Pfeifendepot haben Sie fast sicher Gelegenheit dazu, und wenn es doch nicht klappt, dann nehmen Sie auf alle Fälle unseren hauseigenen „Sottje“ mit oder lassen sich den Glücksbringer einfach nach Hause schicken. Unser „Sottje“ ist zwangsläufig eine „rauchige“ Mischung, basierend auf Virginia mit Latakia und Orient -Tabaken. Er ist somit eine klassich-englische Mixture bei der sich die Süße des Virginia wohlig mit der zarten Rauchigkeit des Latakia verbindet – der Orient erhellt die Szenerie. Alle verwendeten Tabake haben in dieser Mischung ihren Raum sich zu entfalten, keiner ist dominant, alle spielen miteinander. Spielen Sie mit!

Here in Hamburg, the sooty journeymen traditionally wear the „locker“ (cylinder) as headgear in addition to their black outfit, with which they magically attract everyone’s attention. Fortunately, Pfeifendepot has the district chimney sweep with his office to the neighbors and so the Sottjes cross the path all the way here. Superstition or not, who isn’t happy too see one? When you visit Pfeifendepot, you will almost certainly have the opportunity to do so, and if it doesn’t work out, then you should definitely take our house blend „Sottje“ with you or have the talisman sent to your home. Our „Sottje“ is inevitably a „smoky“ mixture, based on Virginia with Latakia and Orient tobacco. It is therefore a classic English mixture in which the sweetness of Virginia blends comfortably with the delicate smokiness of Latakia – the Orient lights up the scene. All tobaccos used have their space to develop in this mixture, none is dominant, everyone is playing with each other. Play along!
