Seit 2012 ist Manfred Hortig im Pfeifenbau aktiv und man sieht seinen Kreationen an, dass er viel Spass bei der Arbeit hat. Klassische Schablonen sucht man hier eher vergeblich, denn der Mann sprüht förmlich vor Ideen, die er mit sicherer Hand ausführt. In Form und Finish sind seine Pfeifen inspirierende Unikate, die ihrem Besitzer viel Freude schenken und sich zu allem Überfluss auch noch gut rauchen lassen!
Manfred Hortig has been making pipes since 2012 and you can tell from his creations that he has a lot of fun at work. You won’t find classic templates here, as the man is literally bursting with ideas, which he realises with a sure hand. In terms of shape and finish, his pipes are inspiring one-offs that give their owners a lot of pleasure and, to top it all off, are also great to smoke!
