Während traditionelle, runde Formate überwiegen, sticht die neue »Emerald« von Rocky Patel als geschmacklich ausgewogene, modern interpretierte Zigarre hervor – kraftvoll im Charakter, dabei zugänglich und fein ausbalanciert.
»Es ist die erste box-pressed Zigarre, die wir veröffentlichen, die wirklich sanft bis mittelkräftig ist. Die meisten unserer box-pressed Formate sind eher mittelkräftig bis vollmundig,« beschreibt Rocky Patel die Emerald.
Das elegante ecuadorianische Deckblatt verleiht der »Emerald« ihre samtige Struktur und eine dezente Würze. Ergänzt wird es durch zwei sorgfältig ausgewählte Umblätter – eines aus Nicaragua, das andere aus Mexiko. Das Herzstück ist die Einlage. Sie besteht überwiegend aus nicaraguanischem Tabak, veredelt durch ein einzelnes, geschmacksintensives Blatt aus dem berühmten Jamastrán-Tal in Honduras.
Das Ergebnis: Im Kern entfaltet sich eine intensive Süße von Karamell, die durch Nuancen von Leder, feinen Noten weißen Pfeffers und Anklängen von Kaffee harmonisch ausbalanciert wird. Diese Kombination verleiht dem Blend eine bemerkenswerte Tiefe und ein ausgewogenes, raffiniertes Geschmacksprofil. Ideal für Genießer, die Subtilität und Balance purer Kraft vorziehen.
With the Emerald, Rocky Patel is bringing a breath of fresh air to the German cigar market—and in a form that is not yet widespread in this country: aficionados can look forward to a mild to medium-strength box-pressed cigar. While traditional, round formats predominate, Rocky Patel’s new Emerald stands out as a flavorfully balanced, modern interpretation of a cigar – powerful in character, yet accessible and finely balanced.
“It’s the first box-pressed cigar we’ve released that’s truly mild to medium-bodied. Most of our box-pressed formats tend to be medium-bodied to full-bodied,” says Rocky Patel, describing the Emerald.
The elegant Ecuadorian wrapper gives the Emerald its velvety texture and subtle spiciness. It is complemented by two carefully selected binder leaves – one from Nicaragua, the other from Mexico. The heart of the cigar is the filler. It consists mainly of Nicaraguan tobacco, refined with a single, flavorful leaf from the famous Jamastrán Valley in Honduras.
The result: an intense caramel sweetness unfolds in the core, harmoniously balanced by nuances of leather, subtle notes of white pepper, and hints of coffee. This combination gives the blend remarkable depth and a balanced, refined flavor profile. Ideal for connoisseurs who prefer subtlety and balance to pure power.
