Bribón

Bribón Zigarren sind die Erfolgsgeschichte von zwei Kolumbianern, die in Bogota und Barichara zwei tolle Projekte auf die Beine gestellt haben: Alles begann in Bogota wo Juan Camilo Rodriguez Ende 2021 mit „La Terraza del Bribón“ eine großartige Zigarrenlounge im angesagten Stadtviertel Usaquén eröffnete. Zwei Jahre später folgte die Eröffnung der Zigarrenmanufaktur im schönsten Dorf Kolumbiens.

Gefertigt aus milden Cubita Tabaken aus Kolumbien, sorgen alle Bribón Zigarren für einen sehr milden Rauchgenuss mit sanften Tabaknoten. Die Aromen erinnern vor allem an Kakao, Kaffee und Gewürze. Schärfe oder Bitternoten sind bei den kolumbianischen Zigarren absolute Fremdwörter.

Um ausreichend mit Cubita Tabaken versorgt zu sein, haben Juan Camilo und sein Geschäftspartner Francis ein eigenes Tabakprojekt in Montes de María im Norden Kolumbiens aufgezogen. Zudem arbeiten sie aktuell in der Region um Barichara mit regionalen Sorten wie „Garcia Rovira“. Juan Camilo Rodriguez sagte im Jahr 2025: „Kolumbien hat den besten Kaffee, Kakao und Rum der Welt, es fehlt die beste Zigarre der Welt. Daran arbeiten wir nun.“

Bribón cigars are the success story of two Colombians who have set up two fantastic projects in Bogota and Barichara: It all began in Bogota, where Juan Camilo Rodriguez opened “La Terraza del Bribón,” a magnificent cigar lounge in the trendy Usaquén district, at the end of 2021. Two years later, the cigar factory opened in the most beautiful village in Colombia.

Made from mild Cubita tobaccos from Colombia, all Bribón cigars provide a very mild smoking experience with gentle tobacco notes. The aromas are reminiscent of cocoa, coffee, and spices. Pungency or bitter notes are completely foreign to Colombian cigars.

In order to ensure a sufficient supply of Cubita tobacco, Juan Camilo and his business partner Francis have set up their own tobacco project in Montes de María in northern Colombia. They are also currently working in the region around Barichara with regional varieties such as “Garcia Rovira.” In 2025, Juan Camilo Rodriguez said: “Colombia has the best coffee, cocoa, and rum in the world, but it lacks the best cigars in the world. That’s what we’re working on now.”
