IBIS Cigarren gibt es z.Z. in drei unterschiedlichen Versionen:
einmal eine Handmade Longfiller Cigarre aus der Dominikanischen Republik, auf der anderen Seite als Handmade Mediumfiller Cigarre aus Honduras, sowie eine Longfiller aus Nicaragua. Alle Versionen sind relativ preiswerte Produkte, die im Bundle gepackt zu 10 Stück angeboten werden. Die Cigarren werden als „ungraded“ gepackt, das heißt, daß sie nicht bis ins Detail sortiert sind und die Qualitätskontrolle nicht so präzise ist wie bei Cigarren, die als Markenprodukt angeboten werden. Damit spart man Kosten ein und nicht zuletzt spart die fehlende teure Holzkiste einiges, so daß der Verkaufspreis entsprechend günstig gestaltet werden kann.

Zur Bundleware kann man natürlich, abhängig vom jeweiligen Hersteller, unterschiedliche Feststellungen machen, einerseits ist es häufig „dritte Wahl“ wobei man dort Produkte bekommt, die nicht besonders schmecken. Oder es sind Cigarren, die extra angefertigt werden, um die in jeder Ernte vorhandenen schlechteren Tabakqualitäten auch verarbeiten zu können. Damit hat jedes Produkt seine wichtige Funktion im Markt und oft findet man darunter auch Cigarren die man wirklich gut rauchen kann.

Schuster gelungen die drei Hersteller auf Ihre Ideen eines gewissen Mindeststandarts einzuschwören, so daß Sie auch in dem Bereich der preiswerteren Produkte ein Angebot haben, welches auf unproblematischen, leicht zu rauchenden Cigarren basiert, die nebenbei geraucht ein gutes Ergebnis liefern. Will man mehr Geschmack oder mehr handwerkliche Perfektion, muß man etwas mehr für das Gewünschte aufwenden.

IBIS cigars are currently available in three different versions:
a handmade long filler cigar from the Dominican Republic, a handmade medium filler cigar from Honduras, and a long filler cigar from Nicaragua. All versions are relatively inexpensive products that are sold in bundles of 10. The cigars are packaged as ‘ungraded’, which means that they are not sorted in detail and the quality control is not as precise as for cigars that are offered as branded products. This saves costs and, last but not least, the lack of an expensive wooden box saves a lot of money, so that the sales price can be kept low.

Of course, depending on the manufacturer, different conclusions can be drawn about bundle goods. On the one hand, they are often ‘third choice’ products that do not taste particularly good. Or they are cigars that are specially made in order to be able to process the poorer quality tobacco that is available in every harvest. This means that every product has its important function in the market, and often you can find cigars among them that are really good to smoke.

For IBIS cigars, Schuster has succeeded in persuading the three manufacturers to commit to a certain minimum standard, so that even in the lower-priced segment, they offer a range of unproblematic, easy-to-smoke cigars that deliver good results when smoked casually.
